Scholarships      Nonprofit Resources Financial Information Contact Us Growing Together The Growing Together Initiative (GTI) is dedicated to addressing the needs of the San Luis Obispo County Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and creating a permanent endowment to ensure ongoing support for local LGBT organizations and issues. Understanding Need In order to identify the most pressing needs in the LGBT community, the GTI Advisory Committee developed and distributed a community survey throughout the county in 2001. Over 500 were completed and returned. And we are only different on the very surface of ourselves… download the full story GTI Endowment Campaign: A Lasting Community Commitment To help provide for ongoing needs of the local LGBT community, the GTI Advisory Committee established a $375,000 goal for developing a permanent endowment. Completed and signed applications may be submitted for consideration at any time, but no later than December 22, 2008. Proposals for grants up to $1,000 will be reviewed as received. Funding decisions will be made within 8 weeks of receiving the proposal.
